Laura Ramsey is an American actress born on November 14, 1982 in Brandon, Wisconsin. She grew up in her birthplace, and began to have an interest in acting when she entered high school. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career.

While looking for auditions and roles on film and television, Laura Ramsey waited tables at a restaurant in Sunset Boulevard. She later found an opportunity to audition for a role in the movie “The Real Cancun,” and not long after she found herself to be part of the cast.

In 2004, Laura Ramsey landed a starring role in the ABC series “The Days,” which served as her ticket to bagging more film roles. She later worked with the likes of Heath Ledger, Johnny Knoxville and Emile Hirsch in the biopic “Lords of Dogtown.” In 2005 she had a role in the films “Cruel World,” “Inside Out” and “Venom,” in which she was able to make a name for herself as a scream queen.

In 2006, she gained more exposure when she starred opposite Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum in the comedy “She's the Man,” and the thriller movie “The Covenant.

Later the same year, she starred in the movie “Whatever Lola Wants.”

Among her most recent acting credits include a starring role in the film “The Ruins” in 2008, an appearance on the show “Mad Men,” and 2009 films “Shrink,” “Middle Men,” and “Street.”
